During the digital and analogue studies, I further explored software like Photoshop, Illustrator and Rhino, as well as physical modelling methods using artefacts, paper, card, plastics and plaster. This was an experimental stage and so no strict agenda was implied to the projects which allowed me to explore structures, shape and form freely. As shown below, in physical modelling I played with light & shadow and its interaction with materials. I also explored texture using plaster and card. I found this interesting as the forms created were so lunar-like. In digital experimentation, I created collages and digital artefacts, combining brushwork, line-work and edited imagery. These tools gave me a stronger understanding of model-making and material and software exploration applicable to my later studies.
